However, going by recent developments where two of his social media accounts were deactivated, questions are now emerging as to whether Uhuru's missing in action was planned ahead of time.

As if this is not enough, the statehouse communication team has never issued any official communication surrounding the President's whereabouts.

While responding to the news on the deactivation of Uhuru's Facebook and Twitter accounts, statehouse offered scanty information to the public, raising even more unanswered queries.

Since his jetting back from his China trip in where he was accompanied by Raila Odinga, Uhuru is yet to make any public appearance. This has happened even as media reports indicate that the duo failed to secure a new Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) loan from the Chinese government.

Due to his absentia, more key appointments have been affected, another aspect that has cast more concerns on his new approach to governance.

Among the few key events effected from his office include the extension of Kenya Defence Forces boss General Samson Mwathethe's term that was due to expire this month.

Kenyans are now looking up to the new government spokesperson Gen Cyrus Oguna to break his silence and reveal more on President Uhuru's whereabouts.
