The incident led to a standstill in the village as many people struggled to witness the rare occurrence.

The snake had beautiful Maasai bracelets tied on its neck an indication that someone had domesticated it.

The owner of the house who also watched from a distant, denied any links with the big snake fearing the wrath of the angry residents.

According to a close neighbor, it’s not the first time the snake has come out.

“It’s not the first time it has come out. It’s just that this time round, it met a group of boys outside and they couldn’t shut their mouth,” said Linet Amweke.

The residents struggled to kill the resistant snake, and later burnt it to ashes.

It later emerged that a similar snake had been killed almost at the same time in Budalangi, where her sister has been married.

The incident shocked the residents with a section claiming that the woman will have to be removed from the village.
