Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has chided former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri after he was fired from the docket.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Wambugu made fun of the former CS for asking Kenyans to send pictures of locusts to him online.
The lawmaker reminded Kenyans to delete the photos after the man behind the same was shown the door by the President in his recent changes to the cabinet.
“If you had taken pictures of locusts or anything that looks like it, you can delete,” he posted on Facebook moments after the CS was fired from office.
Wambugu has been on the forefront in launching attack against the embattled former CS. He once said that he is incompetent.
“Kiunjuri is 100% incompetent. Kiunjuri has been a CS in this government for 5 years. I would like someone to tell me one thing that he has achieved in that time. (well ... except speak Kikuyu methalis,” he posed.
On his part, Kiunjuri has said that he is going nowhere. He thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for giving him the chance to serve in his government. He also said that he was proud of the job he did before he was sacked.
