Two Jubilee leaders were embroiled in a war of words on Facebook with President Uhuru Kenyatta's succession politics taking centre stage. Nyeri town MP Ngujiri Wambugu exchanged bitter words with Nandi Senator Cherargei Kiprotich.
Ngunjiri picked up a 'fight' with Cherargei after he vowed to continue with the campaign dubbed 'kitaeleweka' which seems to be a thorn in the flesh of those close to Deputy President William Ruto.
The first time MP has on various occasions insisted that central Kenya owes no political debt to any community in relation to the 2022 Presidential elections.
He went ahead to caption a story in which Kikuyu council of elders on Monday noted that there was no debt to be paid as anyone can lead the country. The council's chairman Wachira Kiago stated they had no deal with Kalenjin elders concerning Deputy President William Ruto's quest to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
Senator Cherargei responded to Ngunjiri's post. The two leaders appeared to be bitter with Cherargei accusing Ngunjiri of intimidation and using blackmail to attack Deputy President William Ruto.
