The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) director of communications Philip Etale has reacted bitterly after Arsenal Football Club suffered defeat on Thursday night during a Europa League match.
The Gunners were beaten 1-0 by Bate Borisov in a clash played at Borisov Arena stadium in Barysaw, Belarus.
The loss made Arsenal to become the first English Premier League side to be defeated by the Belarusian champions in a European competition.
Etale took to social media to express his disappointment with the team he has supported for decades, pointing an accusing finger at the head coach Unai Emery.
The ODM spokesperson said the London-based club made a big mistake by replacing former manager Arsene Wenger with a 'mad' man who was the reason for the team's poor performance this season.
"The day Arsenal hired a mad man (Unai) for a coach, it slid down to the class of the likes of Cardiff City, Fulham, Newcastle...what a shame," he posted on Twitter on Friday.
Etale also took issue with the coach for snubbing talented midfielder Mesui Ozil in the squad that faced Bate Borisov and asked him to learn from former Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho who was fired after he fell out with Paul Pogba.
"Emirates is not for failures, he will go Mesut Ozil will remain and shine. Let him ask Mourinho," he added.
