Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has eulogized former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Sammy Mbova, as a man who was committed to making life better.
The former Vice President said he received Mbova's death with deep shock and sadness.
Kalonzo said the former PS's demise is not only a loss to the family but the entire nation.
“In the demise of Mbova, the Wiper Democratic Movement of Kenya fraternity in particular, and Kenyans in general have lost a great nationalist and public servant,” Kalonzo said.
He said Mbova proved to the nation that he was dedicated and committed to public service.
The deceased once served as chairman of the Wiper Democratic Movement's National Elections Board in 2013.
The Former Vice President stated he has lost a great friend.
Kalonzo revealed he had close ties with the deceased.
“On the Mbova's demise, I have personally been dealt a big blow since he was also a great family friend,” Kalonzo said.
Mbova's death has shocked the nation as well as his family.
