Posting his message on his official Facebook page, Murathe opined that Ruto's preoccupation with power is all for his selfish gains and has nothing to do with the poor Kenyans.

Murathe argued that the Deputy President would ensure that he sought limitless ways of acquiring government finances including looting from public offices shamelessly.

He further alleged that Ruto would engage in several fraudulent ventures without caring about the consequences as long as the end justified his means and needs.

The old politician strongly expressed his disappointment in Deputy President's gross leadership perspective.

"To William Ruto, leadership is a tool of self enrichment and making as much money as possible by whatever means necessary including corruption and all manner of graft. I hate this kind of leadership to the bone," read the post.

The former Gatanga legislator has been fighting the DP Ruto after Jubilee Party was reelected in 2017. He even blamed him for problems bedevilling the country.

"William Samoei Ruto is the biggest problem, economic problem that this country is facing. He should surrender his looted billions in his accounts to save this country from economic burden," he posted.

Murathe has been claiming that Ruto is the most corrupt leader Kenya has ever had.
