There was drama at Maagonga area in Nyamira County on Tuesday evening when a woman stripped naked and walked naked in public.
It is alleged that Beatrice Nyaubi left a local bar where she was taken by a man believed to be her 'mpango wa kando'.
"Nyaubi stays at home alone because her husband works as a welder in Nakuru. She accompanied David Maeba who she has been having an affair with to a local bar where she consumed bottles of beer," said Jared Motoki.
Mr Motoki said Nyaubi abandoned Maeba in the bar and decided to go home alone only to end up stripping naked thinking she was in her house.
"Immediately she left the bar, she started removing her clothes until she remained in her birthday suit. She screamed saying Maeba forced her to consume excess alcohol so that he can engage in sex with her," noted Motoki.
Area assistant chief Obare Nyaanga said efforts by locals to have the woman put on her clothes were in vain.
"She attacked other women who tried to dress her. She walked naked for over 1 kilometer before she fell down," said the chief.
He said women should stop consuming alcohol because families will break up.
