They had accused Kabogo of arrogance, disrespecting women among another raft of accusations.

However, today a section of Kiambu residents are questioning Waititu's ability to execute his mandate effectively as service delivery especially in the health sector continue to deteriorate.

As if that is not enough, Waititu is also accused of betraying the 'United for Kiambu' lobby group that had four gubernatorial hopefuls who stepped down and rallied behind him.

The four who include Deputy Governor James Nyoro, David Ngari alias Nyoro, Aquiline Njoki and John Mugwe, however, inked a pre-election pact which they say Waititu disregarded immediately he was sworn into office.

The pact had Nyoro as Waititu's running mate. However, Nyoro has since fallen out with Waititu accusing the latter of sidelining him in major county decisions.

It is just this week that Waititu during an interview on Kameme FM accused Nyoro of 'behaving' like he is the county governor when he is not.

The pact also had stated that Gakuyo was to be the chief minister in charge of all county executive committee members as well as the head of county lands department. This was, nevertheless, trashed and Gakuyo was appointed governor' advisor on economic affairs.

Njoki, on the other hand, was to head the trade and legal affairs docket. However, this never yielded any fruits as she was appointed a member of the County Public Service Board. Even her bid to be elected Kiambu County Assembly Speaker was thwarted as Waititu favoured former Juja MP Stephen Ndichu.

Mugwe, a professional engineer, was, however, appointed to the roads and infrastructure docket where he has since been sacked from. He is contesting his dismissal in court.
