Police officers in Molo have embarked on a probe into the death of nurse.
The body of the nurse, who went missing for days, was found decomposing in her house in Molo.
The nurse was working at the Molo Level Four Hospital before she met her untimely death under unclear circumstances.
The colleagues had paid her a visit on Wednesday at her house in Tayari Estate before they bumped into her dead body.
The Molo Level Hospital administrator Joseph Ouma said that the scene was disturbing after the horrible discovery of the deceased’s body.
He also said that the nurse had not reported to work for several days prompting her friends to think about paying a visit.
Confirming the incident, area chief Lucy Waiganjo said that the police have embarked on investigations into the incident.
He also called on the neighbors and other persons who have any information that can assist the police to establish the cause of the death to contact him as soon as possible as they seek to uncover the mystery.
He also said that the police are optimistic that they will find the cause of the death.
“We hope to establish the cause of her death once the postmortem is done today,” said Chief Waiganjo, as quoted by Standard.
Her body was later transferred to the Molo Level Four Hospital mortuary pending investigations into the matter.
The family is yet to speak following the discovery of the body of the deceased nurse.
