A KWFT official from Nyamira County was found dead on Wednesday near Mogeni Tea Factory in Ikonge sub-location.

The man identified as James Otwori is reportedly said to have been headed home from work.

Confirming the incident,  Nyamira County commissioner Amos Omariba said that the act was inhumane.

"The incident is so scaring because a young soul has been killed and his family depended on him," said the commissioner.

He pledged to ensure the killers are brought to book adding that initial investigations point to a dispute between Otwori and people who he did not name.
