Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua has charged that Embrace is a political outfit of ODM and Jubilee.
In a Saturday tweet, the former Gichugu Member of Parliament and presidential candidate said that given the political nature of the outfit rendered it unfit to represent the women of Kenya.
"Remember Embrace is a political outfit for @JubileePartyK & @TheODMparty While this is perfectly legit, it cannot as an outfit bring together all women of kenya, " the former Kirinyaga gubernatorial candidate tweeted.
Embrace Kenya is a group created by Women Reps aimed at giving voice to the issues affecting women in the country.
The group met in Baringo a few days ago to proclaim it's support for the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and veteran opposition and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
A few days later, the group also held a vigil for victims of gender-based violence in the country at the University of Nairobi and called on the law enforcement agencies to crack the whip on those perpetrating violence against women.
Embrace consists of women reps from across the political aisle.
Martha Karua was conspicuously absent in the Baringo meeting in which the colour theme was white and pink.
