In the undated video, the pupils through a poem blasted the pro-President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga's team Kieleweke and Deputy President William Ruto's team Tangatanga.

They also mocked the handshake asking of what importance it is to Kenyans.

"Tumewapa uongozi, tumwamini yupi? Mara team Tangatanga, mara team Kieleweke. Poh! Ni nini maana ya handshake? Mwatuchanganya na tumeenda. (We have given you leadership, who do we believe in? At times team Tangatanga, at other times team Kieleweke. Poh! What is the reason for the handshake? You are confusing us and we have gone)," recited the pupils in a video shared on Twitter

The poem reflects on the current political atmosphere in the country where Tangatanga and Kieleweke are always in constant competitions with each other. Politicians from the two sides point fingers at each other over various political issues.

President Uhuru has on various occasions warned politicians from the two sides against engaging in early politics but in vain.
