Two brothers who are suspects in the murder of the late Star Journalist Eric Oloo were on Monday detained for 11 more days as investigations into the case continue.
County Criminal Investigations Officer Joseph Kinuthia on behalf of the prosecution requested for more time to conclude the investigations.
Reports from Citizen Digital indicate that the prosecution had pleaded for 14 days to finish up the investigations.
Siaya Principal Magistrate James Ong’ondo consequently ordered for the suspects to remain in police custody for the 11 days.
The case will resume on December 10, 2019.
The two brothers are among five suspects who were arrested in connection with the murder of Eric Oloo.
The other three were; Chief Inspector Sabina Kerubo, her daughter and Joyce Awuor, a house-help.
All the suspects except Franklin Lutta are alleged to have been in Kerubo's house where Eric Oloo is believed to have been killed.
Franklin Lutta was the last suspect to be arrested on Friday.
County Commander Francis Kooli confirmed the arrest on Friday although he could not give detailed information as at that time.
