This is probably one of his strategies to ensure he remains relevant to the Uasin Gishu politics and a clear indication that his ambitions to be the governor of Uasin Gishu are still intact.

Unlike other politicians who disappear immediately they lose an election, the billionaire businessman seems to understand very well that making such a move is taking a step back.

Buzeki has made it clear on several occasions in public functions in the county that he is 'the future governor'.

He has remained active on his Facebook page, a place he used to popularize his campaigns.

His tag ‘Tai Ole Tai’ translated to ‘forward ever’ is still very synonymous in all his Facebook posts.

A day or two never passes before the business mogul posts to Facebook his activities within the county, from attending church fundraisers, mingling with locals, attending burials among others.

To some, this might seem just any other person posting on Facebook but looking at it critically, this is a strategy by the politician to ensure people don’t forget him.

Buzeki knows very well that he had made a big stride towards his gubernatorial ambitions and going silent to his supporters before 2022 might hurt his second stab on the county’s top seat.

Several individuals have expressed interest for the seat that will be left vacant after Mandago completes his two terms and Buzeki remains the frontrunner.
