East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) Member of Parliament Simon Mbugua has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve his cabinet.
Mbugua says the move will help enhance the ongoing graft fight.
In a post on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, the EALA MP pointed out that Kenyans are tired of being told how corruption will be dealt with and that no one will be spared.
He noted that Kenyans fought for the Jubilee government but it has failed them in the manner in which it is handling corruption.
"Kenyans want action! You need to dissolve your cabinet and start on a new slate. You need to sanitize your Government which you swore to protect as you took the oath of office. Urgently you need to do this because almost all the ministers and ministry have been directly or indirectly mentioned in corruption," noted Mbugua.
The MP who is believed to be a close ally of President Kenyatta further lamented that the Big Four Agenda programs are not progressing well due to ill politics.
"No jobs, no capital and no support from the government that they supported to their last drop of sweat. Shread that monotonous speech. Rise like a colossus. Tell Kenyans that you have chased the corrupt government officials until their innocence is proven!," Mbugua told the president in the post.
Corruption fight has taken a political path with a section of elected leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto accusing the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) of using the fight to target the Kalenjin community in a bid to scuttle the DP's 2022 presidential bid.
