Though known for its nice and good tunes, Luo Nyanza also has a number of musicians who were at some point either rebuked or condemned for producing 'dirty' content.
Here are some them;
1. Nyando Stars
The now silent band is the brain behind the controversial 'Adhiambo Sianda', hit, an explicit piece praising Adhiambo for her big butt.
The 2004 song was later renamed Adhiambo 'S' to hide the dirty second word before it slipped into a ban soon after.
The song is completely dirty and insinuates that the singers and the lady were getting intimate.
2. Okatch Biggy
Born in Ujimbe, Gem, Siaya county 1954 and departed in 1997, Benga star Okatch 'Dola' was also very fond of addressing women's behinds.
In his 1996 track "Nyathi Nyakatch", however, a year before his death, Okatch announces that he has reformed, declaring himself a saved person.
"Kar dhi ka chode tinde alemo, mulo sianda mon maya neema na (I have stopped preying on women and touching them inappropriately)," he says.
Other musicians who are slightly explicit include Kibera-born rapper Henry Ohanga alias Octopizzo who has also thrown several 'F' words in his music lyrics here and there.
