Deputy President William Ruto now says that the Jubilee government needs the support of each and every Kenyan to deliver in its manifesto.
Speaking in Mauche, Nakuru county on Saturday, the DP called for political calm, saying that the heating politicking is frustrating the Jubilee's attempts to realize its campaign promises.
He added that the government's Big 4 agenda heavily depends on the stability of the nation, and the rising political temperatures are therefore a hindrance to it.
The DP called upon politicians to quit spreading malicious propaganda and instead engage in talk that can be of help to the common citizen.
“The realisation of the Big Four is dependent on the political stability of this country. Our unity as leaders is its fulcrum. It is therefore impossible for leaders to engage in endless politics that would not be of value to Kenyans," he was quoted by the Standard.
Ruto further said that a terrible disappointment awaits those prophesying a fallout within the ruling Jubilee Party.
The DP has been insisting that the party and the bond between himself and President Uhuru Kenyatta remain strong, rubbishing allegations of there being cracks within the party.
"They will be disappointed because President Uhuru Kenyatta and I are united for a genuine cause of delivering pledges to Kenyans," he said adding that he is fully in support of the government's initiatives and his detractors should not accuse him of sabotaging it.
