For months now, Kutuny has been one of the most vocal Kalenjin MP, who has openly attacked Deputy President William Ruto over his style of leadership.

But on Friday, Dr Ruto toured Kutuny's home in Kaplamai, where he insisted that he's not bothered with the noise from the second term MP.

The DP said that the residents of Cherangany will continue receiving services from Jubilee administration despite the criticism from the MP.

"The work of your MP has become just making noise, but whether he is there or not the government will still deliver to the people of Cherangany because you voted for this government in large numbers," he said.

Among other things, Kutuny has often accused Dr Ruto of sabotaging maize farming in North Rift, arguing that he has a conflict of interest.

Recently, he also accused the DP of gambling with the people of Mau, adding that he's using them to score in politics.

“We cannot subject our people to misery for political gain. We cannot allow you to use your proxies to fight one side of the Government.”

Kutuny, who is one of the fiercest Ruto critics, challenged the DP to spend the money he donates every weekend to support those affected in the exercise if he was concerned about their suffering.
