Esise MCA Joshua Nyarang'o said Matiang'i should be ready to end livestock theft in the ward failure to which he will get rough with constituents.

"Matiang'i must ensure ongoing cattle theft in my area of jurisdiction comes to an end with immediate effect failure to which I will mobilize my constituents to protest to push for Matiang'i resignation," said the MCA.

The ward representative insisted that Matiang'i must deploy special police officers to fight cattle theft in the area because the current officers are sleeping on the job.

"Residents are living in fear at their own homes yet we have police officers who should protect the people in deep villages. I am demanding new police officers with relevant experience in fighting cattle rustlers be deployed to the ward to intensify security patrols more especially at night to flush out cattle rustlers," said Nyarang'o.

According to the MCA, Matiang'i has until end of January 2019 to deploy experienced police officers to his area.
