A middle-aged man was on Friday nabbed with half sack of bhang at Nyagotocha village, Gesangero in Marani, Kisii County.
Kisii police commander Martin Kibet said residents tipped police officers about the suspect identified as Ezekiel illegal dealings.
"Our officers were informed by locals about Ezekiel's dubious dealings. The officers stormed his house and found him with half sack of bhang which he was preparing to ferry to unknown market," said Kibet.
The commander said upon questioning the suspect who was frog-marched to Rioma police post he revealed that he has been selling bhang to youths.
"He told officers that he sells bhang to youths only. He will help police officers to name other drug barons he has been colluding with to sell the illegal drugs," he added.
Mr Kibet assured that the suspect will be arraigned in court on Monday.
"There is an exhibit to arraign him in court. Anyone engaging in dubious dealings should either stop or surrender to police to confess before the law catches up with him," he added.
This comes after on Friday Kisii County MP Janet Ong'era threatened to expose drug lords.
