ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has hit out at Deputy President William Ruto.
This is after the DP launched an attack against Jubilee Party’s Secretary General Raphael Tuju accusing him of working with the opposition.
In a tweet on Sunday, Sifuna said Ruto was 'planting fake stories on papers' before going to Twitter to complain.
He was reacting to DP Ruto's claims that Tuju was working for the opposition.
Ruto on Sunday tweeted that; “So our democracy is so liberal that the SG of the ruling party has become the chief strategist of the opposition!! Maajabu.”
Sifuna while reacting to the tweet said; "You plant fake stories in the papers then come and cry on Twitter about the same. Hii ni bangi gani lakini?"
A section of DP Ruto’s allies has been calling for Tuju’s resignation on grounds that he has been fueling division within the ruling party.
