Education Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Mohammed on Thursday made an impromptu visit to Garissa county, visiting Garissa High School to check on the ongoing KSCE examinations.
Addressing the press, CS Amina revealed that she was contented with how the examinations were being conducted and that she was confident that the same conduct will last through the entire period.
"I am satisfied with how the exams are being conducted. We will not relent but instead, we shall remain vigilant till the end," affirmed the CS.
On alleged cases of exam malpractices, CS Amina revealed that four candidates have already been arrested and arraigned in court to answer related charges.
"So far, we have four candidates who have been arrested and charged over alleged cheating. Three are from Garissa and One from Nairobi," revealed CS Amina.
On Tuesday, three candidates from Boystown High School were arraigned in a Garissa court to answer the charges of cheating. However, the students pleaded not guilty with their case set for February 12, 2019.
