Fast-rising Kenyan musician Nviiri the Storyteller is currently topping YouTube's trending video with his latest song dubbed 'Overdose'.

The song has received positive reactions earning more than 100,000 views on YouTube within three days of its premiere. The singer took to his Instagram page to announce a party in celebration of the achievement and the positive reaction that the song has enjoyed.

"I woke up early to deliver wine in offices and then in the evening we will get celebrate @1824pub. In short, today don't talk to me if you don't drink (Nimeamka mapema ndio nianze kudeliver wine kwa ma ofisi halafu jioni tuharibike pamoja pale @1824pub, in short leo kama hulewi usioniongeleshe)," Nviiri the Stroyteller wrote on Instagram alongside a video showing the song trending at number one on You Tube.

This is Nviiri the Storyteller's second single under Sol Generations record which is owned by Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol. 

The first single that he released was 'Pombe Sigara' which was also received positively and gained more than 800,000 views on YouTube.

The singer has received a lot of support in marketing the song from Sauti Sol's Bien Baraza whose video dancing to the song with his girlfriend recently went viral.

Another celebrity who also helped Nviiri in popularizing the song is Kenyan radio presenter-cum-musician Tanasha Donna.
