Nyali MP Mohammed Ali alias Jicho Pevu on Thursday exchanged fiercely with a top journalist over the ongoing African-Russian summit in Sacho.
Dozens of African leaders are currently in Russia following invitation of President Vladimir Putin, who is keen to venture African market.
In a tweet, renowned journalist and cartoonist Patrick Gathara mocked Ali over the summit, wondering if the youthful legislator had managed to travel.
Last year, Ali had difficult time with a host of other lawmakers explaining why they travelled to Russia for World Cup at the expense of taxpayers.
"Did @MohaJichoPevu and @orengo_james dandia this trip like they did the World Cup one?" Gathara had tweeted.
But in a quick rejoinder, Ali, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, dismissed Gathara's assertions probably appearing provoked.
"Buda acha feelings za ovyo. Kwani nilikunyang'anya bibi," be said in a tweet. (My friend this should not bother you. Did I ever snatch your wife?)
The youthful legislator, a former journalist as well, has been struggling to replicate his watchdog abilities in parliament, leading to unending criticism.
During his time in the media, Ali was know as a crusader of anti-corruption, often accusing DP William Ruto of being involved in mega graft cases. The two have since reconciled.
