Irene Chebichi said Ruto promised them several goodies during the campaign period but he has not honoured them.

Chebichi spoke during a meeting graced by Water Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui.

She sent the CS to remind the DP of his pledges.

"Tafadhali bwana CS wacha nikutume kwa Deputy President, wakati tulikuwa majani mingi na wewe unajua tulipewa ahadi kiasi gani. Mpaka wasasa wananchi wanauliza ile ahadi tuliambiwa tutajengea wananchi Technical Training institute imefika wapi?" Chebichi said.

She added: "Ile ahadi tuliambiwa watu wetu ambao wako kwa hama hapa ambayo imekuwa sura mbovu zaidi itatatuliwa lini?"
