As President Uhuru celebrates his 57th birthday today, various leaders have come out to wish him a happy anniversary.

The Nairobi County governor Mike Sonko has been among those who wished the president a happy celebration.

He posted a tbt photo of Uhuru Kenyatta and captioned it:

“Happy Birthday @Ukenyatta! Thank you for your astounding service to this beautiful country. You inspire all of us to give back, fight corruption and aim at improving the lives of all Kenyans. There has been a remarkable change under your leadership on matters of development. Thank you for fighting for a better future for all Kenyans. Happy Birthday Mr. President.”

President Uhuru Kenyatta is serving his second and last term as president. 

Governor Sonko's birthday message attracted comments from residents, who came out in numbers to wish President Uhuru a happy birthday too.
