Exactly one year ago today, Raila Odinga was taken ill at a hospital after a political rally in Kilifi.
The then opposition leader was suspected to have suffered food poisoning and was quickly rushed to hospital o receive medical attention.
Speaking to the media, the CEO of the National Super Alliance (NASA), Mr Norman Magaya, Odinga said he felt slightly unwell.
Media reports that the veteran opposition leader had been hospitalised at the Mombasa Hospital caused a stir on social media.
The ODM communication team assured the opposition supporters that there was no need of tension as the opposition leader would regain his health.
Residents of Garissa from across the political aisle, by and large, wished Mr Odinga a quick recovery.

''I think he needs to take a break from the campaign so that his body can relax,'' Balo Juno said.

''I do not support him but I wish him a quick recovery,'' Garba Hassan said.
