Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on Thursday shared a rare video of him at the kitchen preparing food. The video of the senator has since gone viral. The lawmaker is seen with some of his family members as he knits Ugali. It is clear that the senator is an amazing cook from the way he moves the cooking stick.
The fact that he is using firewood to prepare the food makes the whole thing exciting. At some point, he invites two children to see how Ugali is prepared.
“Back to my roots. Showing the kids how to knit black golden ugali. At this stage you lower the heat by removing the firewood and allow the ugali to cook slowly as you turn it from time to time. The product is heavenly. Alafu haters waongee mbaya,” he tweeted.
The video of the senator comes barely two weeks after ODM Leader Raila Amolo Odinga also showed his cooking skills. The Luo Political kingpin took to the kitchen and prepared his family a German meal. The daughter Winnie Odinga later shared the video of the Former Prime Minister in the kitchen.
Winnie shared the video and captioned it: “Some time ago dad hopped on the stove and whipped together a German breakfast! Delicious! Happy holidays.”
