Kayole-based Pastor Godfrey Migwi has been appointed as the Religion and Politics analyst in Africa by BBC.

Taking to social media, the pastor revealed this great news to his fans.

The pastor's appointment at BBC comes after he was fired from the Mediamax Ltd a few months ago. 

He was a presenter at Kameme Radio until June 26, 2019, when he hosted his last show.

The media house, which is co-owned by President Uhuru Kenyatta fired Pastor Migwi over his support for Deputy President William Ruto. 

Mr Migwi had publicly declared his support for Ruto and even mobilizing central Kenya to support him. 

In a previous video he recorded from his home in Murang'a, the pastor questioned President Uhuru's development record in the region. 

Migwi is a preacher and a vernacular singer who had a great following both on and off social media. 

He has been accusing Uhuru on various occasion through his social media pages. 

He declared his support for Ruto and vowed that no one will dictate for him who he supports.
