Ms. Maribe has been behind bars for forth weeks over alleged links to Monica Kimani's murder, in which her fiance Joseph Irungu is treated as prime suspect.

Justice James Wakiaga said he will deliver ruling on October 30th, 2018 at 11:30am, adding that the media, which he has raised concerns about, is also invited.

Defense team led by Katwa Kigen had argued that the prosecution did not have any compelling reasons to have her locked over the matter.

They also insited that Ms. Maribe would adhere to all court instructions, including submitting traveling documents as a sign of her willingness to proceed with the matter.

Prosecution team dismissed bail on the pretext that Ms. Maribe, could use her influence in media and political cycles to manipulate investigations.

They also demanded that she's banned from any attempt to go back on air, saying it would tamper with investigations should be be freed.

Both Maribe and Joseph Irungu have denied orchastrating and executing Monica Kimani, a business lady who lived at Kilimani, near Maribe's work station.

On his part, Irungu has also pledged to obey all the rules that may be set by the court, adding that he's willing to push the matter so that his name is cleared.

This happens even as prosecutors turned Recce Squad officer Orlando Odhiambo to a state witness after establishing that he was not with Irungu the day Monica Kimani died.
