Speaking on Friday, Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch made new allegations putting the DP at the middle of the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandals.

In a press conference the parliament buildings, the MP claimed that the scandal can be traced back to the DP, alleging that his allies are behind the theft of the Ksh21 billion public money.

Oluoch who hails from Raila's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) termed this the reason why he is all over the place defending the scandal, terming him an arrogant leader.

"To therefore go in public and mislead Kenyans that it is your principal duty to be concerned about numbers and what is stolen, when in fact it is you and your henchmen in whose direction the stench from this fatting is coming from is arrogance of the highest order,” he was quoted by the Nation.

He was speaking in the company of his Uriri counterpart Mark Nyamita and Abdulswamad  Sharif (Mvita).

The allegations come at a time when the DP has been very vocal about the issue, and initially came out to fault reports that the lost money amounts to Ksh21 billion.

Speaking last week, he capped the funds at Ksh7 billion, but added that the funds can be traced and the payments have been made as per the required criteria.

This has landed him in a verbal fight with opposition leader Raila Odinga who is wondering why he is interfering in the work of independent investigative institutions.
