Tanzanian celebrated singer Diamond Platnumz on Saturday night attracted a huge crowd in Freetown, Sierra Leone when he showed up for a show.
Diamond who has been in Sierra Leone since Friday was scheduled for a number of shows, including a mega show which was held at Siaka Stevens Stadium commonly known informally as National Stadium.
According to Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB), the show had attracted about 70, 000 attendants.
In a video shared on social media by Bongo Five TV, Diamond is seen stepping on stage as a huge crowd is seen running from spectators' stands towards the centre of the football pitch where Diamond's stage had been constructed.
He then orders his fans to switch on their phones' lights and the whole stadium was shining like a galaxy of stars.
This is not the first time Diamond is attracting huge crowds away from his home country.
He pulled out a similar show in Uganda mind this year, a few months after he had parted ways with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan.
Diamond noted that the love he has received in Sierra Leone proves Tanzanian music has fully crossed the borders.
"Thank you Tanzania, thank you fans, thanks to the media, artists and all Bongo Flavor supporters, for sure we can celebrate and say our music has made it. (Asante Tanzania, Asante Mashariki, Asante Media zote, Wasanii, Mashabiki na Wadau wote wa Muzki wetu....hakika sasa tunajivunia kusema Muziki wetu Umepenya!!!)," he noted in an Instagram post.
The 'Kanyaga' hitmaker performed a number of his hit songs including viral 'Tetema' in which he was featured by Rayavanny.
The song emerged to be the much-loved one among Sierra Leone fans.
