The suspect, 22, works as a tea picker in Kaborus village.

She allegedly fled the scene of the crime after committing the heinous act.

Preliminary reports indicate that the woman had gone to the home of the victim to demand for her pay, after completing her job.

The man, however, failed to pay the said amount thereby leading to a heated argument between them.

The suspect reportedly drew a sharp knife and stabbed the man in the back before fleeing from the scene.

Mugera was rushed to the AIC Litein Mission Hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival. His body has since been transferred to the morgue pending burial arrangement.
