Teachers, parents and students of Riooga secondary school in Kitutu Masaba, Nyamira County have reasons to smile after area MP Shadrack Mose donated a new school bus.
The MP, while speaking on Tuesday at the schoo after he handed over the bus, said he will continue donating buses to schools.
"This is the second bus I have donated courtesy of CDF kitty after I donated the first bus to St. Mary's Secondary school," he said.
The Jubilee elected MP urged the school management not to misuse the bus.
"Transport of students and teachers to contests and competitions will be easy for the school. I'm appealing to the school management to ensure the bus benefits the school," he added.
He challenged students to work hard saying he donated the bus due to the good performance.
"Teachers should continue teaching learners and prepare them well so that they can excel in national exams. Parents need to be supportive to teachers and their children for the sake of realizing good performance in national exams," added the MP.
