In a tweet on Wednesday, the embattled lawyer who is currently operating from Canada following his deportation from the country called for changes, noting that the dirty state of our streets is worrying.

Comparing Kenya to Canada, he said that the nation is far behind and needs restructuring and proper governance.

He urged Kenyans to concentrate on eradicating the garbage menace, development and streamlining the government which he has repeatedly branded 'a despotic regime made up of looters and murderers'.

"For those asking 'how is Canada?', Canada, especially the city of Toronto is clean, manicured, safe, developed and properly governed," he reported.

"Kenya is the place that needs restructuring, development and proper governance. Let's focus on our garbage, looters, and murderers," he added.

Miguna has been on the neck of the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led administration since his deportation, taking over as the leading critic of the state and repeatedly bashing the government for what he says is a despotic and barbaric rule.

His deportation followed his involvement in opposition leader Raila Odinga's January 30 mock presidential coronation at Uhuru Park.

His attempts to reenter the nation have been thwarted by the Immigration Department which has maintained that he has since lost his citizenship and must reapply to be allowed into Kenya.
