Diamond Platinumz is a Tanzanian singer who does not need any form of introduction here in Kenya, whole Africa and even beyond.

Until the social media hashtag "Play Kenyan Music" campaign kicked off a few months back, most Kenyan media houses were mostly playing hits from Diamond's Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) music production company.
The reason behind WCB crew enjoying much airtime on Kenyan studios is because fans love them, and most of their requests were Bongo Flavor songs.
Diamond has finally revealed why fans love his music. The singer has said that what the artist does on stages, in music videos and what he or she writes in their songs, will decide if the singer get loved or hated by fans.
He used action movies actors, Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee, to bring his point home. He said Mr Chan became who he wanted to be, because he did not focus his efforts to become another person, Mr Lee
"Through your performance on stage, your performance in songs, can make someone love you more, hate you more, hate or love the song, if you can manage to use the stage well, it will make fans to love your songs much," said Diamond.
