Speaking in Turkana where he attended the annual Tubong’u Lore fete on Thursday, Kibwana said that he came across a photo of potential successors of President Uhuru Kenyatta but his name was missing.

He informed those in attendance that he will also join the contest when that time comes.

“There was a picture taken and those who want to be president were put on side while the deputy president was on the end with six others. But I also want to tell the deputy president that they forgot to add my picture because this month I decided that I will be joining the contest.

Kibwana also asked Ruto’s rivals not to take him for granted, noting that the second in command is still a force to reckon with.

“Those who take you for granted and think that you do not matter are very wrong. Yes. They are very wrong, and I can say that boldly because I am a constitutional, political analyst and a politician for that matter. I know your capability,” said Kibwana, as quoted by Capital FM.
