Raila Odinga's spokesman Dennis Onyango is ready to serve in State House as PSCU head, a NASA Secretariat official has revealed.
News about the impending changes are yet to be made public but President Uhuru Kenyatta could announce new appointments in two weeks time.
According to the source who spoke in confidence, Onyango is optimistic that 'progress has been made' by appointing authority.
"I spoke to him and he assured me that he is ready to take up the job.
"He also told me that the plans are at advanced stage and he will not hesitate to take over," he said.
Both State House and Capitol Hill have however remained mum as Uhuru continues with his overhaul.
And should Onyango be appointed, he will take over from Kanze Dena, who is temporarily incharge after the exit of Manoah Esipisu.
Mr. Esipisu, who served from 2013 until this month, was deployed as envoy to UK.
And the former Citizen TV anchor, was also recruited few weeks ago as the deputy head of PSCU.
The changes are coming amid unexpected handshake between Uhuru and Raila, which came just five months after the October polls.
