Former Kibwezi West MP Kalembe Ndile has hinted on vying for a top political position in the 2022 general election.
Ndile says he is strategizing himself for 2022 after he was allegedly rigged out of the 2013 and 2017 general election.
He alleged that he was rigged out of the Mavoko parliamentary seat in 2017.
The former MP alleges that he won against Mavoko MP Patrick Makau but he was rigged out.
“I am getting ready for 2022 and I will be revealing the top seat I plan to contest,” Ndile said.
Ndile addressed the press in Mavoko on Sunday.
He asked his supporters to remain patient and calm.
Ndile unsuccessfully contested for the Mavoko parliamentary seat in the August 8, 2017 polls.
In the run-up to the 2017 general election, the former MP dissolved his TIP TIP party and merged with Jubilee Party.
In the recent past, Ndile has been complaining of being sidelined in the Jubilee party.
At one point, the former lawmaker threatened to pull his party out of Jubilee.
Political pundits argue that it will be difficult for Ndile to make a political comeback.
"Ndile's chances of making it back to politics is zero especially after he agreed to dissolve his TIP TIP party to merge with Jubilee," political pundit Peter Ngure says.
