A Kenyatta University student has been killed by a man said to be her lover’s stepbrother.

The deceased was reportedly stabbed several times on Wednesday in Migosi Estate, Kisumu.

Reports said the Third Year Hospitality and Tourism student was with her lover who was also staying with the suspect.

It is not clear what led to the attack but the boyfriend was not around when it happened.

Police suspect the victim was raped before being killed.

After the suspect killed the girl, he took the body into his step brother’s car that was parked in the estate.

The body was later removed and taken to the morgue.

Police said the suspect was also arrested and investigations are ongoing.
