Butita Campus Tour will on Friday evening grace Moi University’s students centre.
The event which will be free will see some of the top comedians in the country entertain the students at the Kesses-based campus. According to the Gibson Medussa who is the student leader in charge of entertainment, the objective of the event is to nurture young upcoming talents while, at the same time, entertain the comrades.
“This event is mainly meant to entertain the students that’s why there is no entrance fee. We will also in the process discover and possibly nurture young talents. On behalf of the Moi University Students Organization (MUSO), I would like to appreciate Butita for choosing to work with us. I’d also like to urge students to show up in large numbers as the event will be free,” Medussa stated.
Some of the comedians who will be performing include Kartelo, YY, Butitta, Chipukeezy among others.
The comedians have already confirmed their attendance with Kartelo sending a short confirmation video. They will arrive at the main campus at around 2:00 pm after which the event will begin at 5:00 pm.
Butita’s manager was also at Moi University on Thursday evening to oversee the activation of the event.
