To strengthen your relationship, here are five things you should do after a fight with your partner.

1. Make up as soon as possible

It is advisable that you make up after a fight. The best gift you can give each other is to reconnect and restore harmony. Create peace with your partner so you can forget every negative thing. 

2. If you can't get calm, get yourself alone

If you find it hard to calm down in the presence of your partner, you need to get some time alone. Being alone will definitely cool down the temper.

3. Express how you feel

Another key thing you can do after a fight is to express to your partner how you feel about the fight. How did it make you feel? Why did you feel that way? By doing so, you get to understand the reason behind your partner's fury.

4. Disclose your triggers

5. Apologise and mean it
