Migori Women Representative Pamela Odhiambo says she saw 'cruel jaws of death', only that God intervened to save her life.
The first term MP, who is undergoing physiotherapy, said she has since improved and hopes to be discharged soon to serve her constituents.
"So far my condition has improved and I thank God for the gift of life and having saved me from the cruel jaws of death. I'm undergoing physiotherapy after which I'll be discharged to continue serving my constituents.
"I would wish to specially thank the people of Migori for their support since the occurrence of the accident .I lack words to say thank you and express my gratitude for your overwhelming love and passion you've shown me as your leader.May God bless you."https://www.facebook.com/701892450003497/posts/1051129178413154/
Mrs Odhiambo was heading to Homa Bay for a fundraiser before being involved in the accident that left three others also nursing serious injuries.
Last Saturday, Governor Okoth Obado and his wife Hellen Obado visited her with Raila Odinga returning to Nairobi Hospital on Monday to monitor her progress.
"Your continued prayers are still needed for me and for the county so that the devil can be ashamed. I'm looking forward to serving you as soon as I'll be out of the Hospital.I wish you the best week ahead," she noted.
