The names David Ndi and Noman Magaya were all over the Kenyan media prior to the 2017 polls and everybody knew them as the Jubilee critics.

The two were the confidants of opposition chief Raila Odinga and used to frequently attack the Jubilee government.

The fearless duo was fond of holding press releases to question the validity of the Jubilee Government.

However, what is evident now is the manner in which the two have muted attacks on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his government.

The main reason is the post-handshake effects.

The relationship between the president and the ODM leaders is growing day in day out.

The ODM leader has openly vowed to work together with president Uhuru and help him achieve the big four agenda.

Magaya and Ndii have reduced attacks on the Jubilee Government because their boss, Raila Odinga is dancing to the same political tune as a jubilee.

It could have been a little been tricky for the duo to keep on criticking the Jubilee Government while their boss is openly working with the same government.

Besides, continuing with such attacks would mean that they have betrayed their party and could risk being axed from their loyal positions in Raila’s camp.

So, only time will tell whether David Ndii and Noman Magaya will launch a formidable comeback on the political arena.
