Speaking on Wednesday, the former county boss warned corrupt individuals, saying that he will lead the way in nabbing them.

He noted that he will lead in citizen arrests going forward, and urged corrupt persons to either stop the vice or find themselves behind bars.

"We are putting you on notice, we are coming for you (Sisi tunawapa notisi, tutawakujia)," he said on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi show on Wednesday night.

Also present in the interview was former Rongo parliamentary hopeful David Osiany, who also decried the runaway corruption in the country.

Kabogo noted that President Uhuru Kenyatta has since given the green light for Kenyans to help in fighting the menace, urging citizens to take full advantage of the authorisation.

He called upon Kenyans, and especially the youth, to fully take charge of the ongoing battle against graft to nab and present corrupt individuals to the relevant authorities for further processing.

"Uhuru said youth should arrest persons suspected to be engaging in corruption (Uhuru amesema vijana mukiskia mtu anafanya ufisadi enda mshike)," he added.

Kabogo has now threated to implement Uhuru's citizen arrest directive which he gave while in Kisii a year ago.
