Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso has responded positively to treatment after she was flown to India.
The Director of Communication Ezra Kirui has now announced the first term county boss will be returning back home after the treatment.
He, however, did not reveal the exact date when the county boss will arrive land.
The official also said that the county boss is expected to resume her official duties once she arrives into the country.
“The office of the governor would like to inform the residents of Bomet and the general public that the Governor is set to return home in a few days,” read part of the statement released to media houses," as quoted by Daily Nation.
The official also said that the governor will continue to receive treatment as she discharges her duties after she fell ill.
“Upon her return, however, the governor will continue with her medication reviews locally as per her doctor’s advice,” he added.
The governor had been referred to India for further treatment after her condition worsened while she was in London, United Kingdom.
Several leaders including Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga, Chief Justice David Maraga and Former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto visited her before she was transferred from a London Hospital.
