The ruling, as reported by Daily Nation means Sossion will remain a Member of Parliament at the same time serve the teachers union.

In her ruling, Justice Maureen Onyango said that Sossion is entitled to hold the two offices, adding that there is nothing unconstitutional about the same.

The Knut boss was nominated into parliament through Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and has been facing wrangles with some of the union members.

He, however, stood firm that he would not quit no matter the amount of pressure that was exerted on him because of the two offices.

Sossion blamed external forces for his woes.

He also said that he is not fighting President Uhuru Kenyatta after he kept questioning the implementation of the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC).

“I cannot fight the President as I do not have the means or the interest. In any event, I am the only one in this country who can tell the President without fear of repercussions when and where things are going wrong. Apparently, many people do not like to tell the President the truth,” said Sossion, as quoted by Daily Nation.
