According to the county boss James Ongwae, he is committed to ensuring stalled projects are completed in good time before 2022.

"My government is doing everything possible to ensure the construction of a banana factory is completed before 2022. Sh45 million has been allocated to fund the project," he noted.

The ODM Governor reiterated that he will never succumb to criticism from lazy rivals seeking political relevance.

Ongwae called on residents to embrace patience so that his government can complete the stalled projects.

"Projects which are yet to be completed should not be politicized by lazy rivals. Members of the public should give deaf ears to my political enemies tainting my name by spreading falsehood," said Ongwae.

He challenged county workers to work hard for the purpose of improving service delivery to the people.

The governor warned county employees against misusing public funds saying the law won't spare anyone in graft war.

"Corruption will derail development in the county. I am appealing to chief officers and other county workers to maintain high levels of integrity while discharging their daily duties," he stated.
