In yet another strongest indication, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has hinted a possible working relationship with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
At Homa Bay Tourist Hotel on Sunday during his second day tour in South Nyanza, Mr. Moi said his 'friendship with Raila remains intact'.
"Baada ya handshake, Raila na mimi tuko njia moja, ile urafiki ulikuwa na Baba utaendelea, tunapanga njia yenye tutapeleka wananchi ile Canaan Raila alisema.
This loosely translates to: "After the handshake, Raila and I are working together. His friendship with my father also remains intact. We are organising on how to reach Canaan that Raila talks about."
Canaan was used in NASA campaigns as symbol for State House and Raila has maintained that the journey is still intact even after the truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In April when Raila was hosted at Kabarak by Gideon and his father Daniel Moi, Tiaty MP William Kamket said that the too had agreed to work together.
"They will be an item in 2022. Just wait and see how Kenya's politics will take a new angle," he noted.
At Homa Bay, several politicians backed Moi-Raila ticket in 2022 with area Women Representative Gladys Wanga saying 'Moi and Raila are sober' for the State House job.
During the fund raiser, Mr. Moi, who was the Chief Guest for Abedo Women Group, contributed Sh3 million further thrilling the crowd.
